Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers about how we work, what we charge, and what we don't do.

What technologies do you actually work with?

Laravel 10+ for custom applications and CRMs, with Filament v3 and Livewire for admin layers. PrestaShop 1.7 and 8.x for e-commerce. WordPress and WooCommerce for content-led sites. PostgreSQL or MySQL on the database side, Nginx and PHP-FPM 8.3 on the server side. We've been writing Laravel since v4 and deploying PrestaShop since 1.6, so the experience is depth-first rather than width-first.

How long does a typical project take?

A WordPress or WooCommerce build runs 4 to 8 weeks depending on the customization scope. A PrestaShop migration or custom theme runs 8 to 14 weeks. A custom Laravel CRM runs 12 to 24 weeks depending on integrations. Server setup and hosting migration is a few days to two weeks. We give a written timeline with the quote, not a verbal estimate.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes. Most clients move into a paid retainer after launch, typically 4 to 8 hours a month, where we fix the small things the team finds in real use, add small features, and keep dependencies up to date. Most of our clients have been with us for more than two years, which is the model we are built around.

What is your pricing model?

Fixed price, scoped in writing before work starts. The first conversation is free. After that, scoping engagements typically run 1,500 to 2,500 EUR and produce a written specification, click-through admin UI, and a fixed-price quote for the build. If you do not proceed with the build, the spec is yours to take elsewhere. We do not work hourly for new builds.

Can you migrate my existing website to a new platform?

We migrate WordPress to Laravel, PrestaShop 1.7 to 8.x, and shared hosting to VPS. We do not do Shopify migrations, Wix or Squarespace customization, or US-based hosting moves. The first thing we do on any migration is take a snapshot of the production site and run it on staging before touching anything live.

Do you work with clients outside the EU?

We work primarily with B2B clients in the EU, currently across 8 countries. We can take on non-EU clients case by case, but our infrastructure focus is EU data residency, which makes sense if your customers are in Europe. Communication happens via email, video calls, and shared project tools.

What makes LaNexa different?

We work on a small set of stacks where we have real depth (Laravel, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, custom server work). We refuse projects that do not fit. We price scoped, not hourly. We stay engaged after launch, which is when most agencies leave. None of this is unique on its own, but the combination is rare.

How do I get started?

Send a message via the contact form or email info@lanexa.eu. Tell us what is broken or what you are trying to build. The first call is free and is meant to figure out whether we are the right fit. If we are not, we will tell you that directly and point you somewhere better when we can.
